YouTubers Crash $250,000 TRX-Based Warlord 6×6!

Green Trucks Can't Jump! Too Slow Of Speed Caused This...

Over the past year and a half, there have been a number of TRX 6×6 conversions. But probably the most famous is from Apocalypse Manufacturing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Originally a builder of Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler 6×6 models, Apocalypse now offers two different variants of TRX 6×6s.

Of the two, the Warlord 6×6 has to be our favorite. With a starting price of $250,000 USD, the Warlord 6×6 is far from cheap. But the package looks good, almost as if the Ram 1500 TRX was designed to be a 6-wheel-drive off-roader, to begin with. Apocalypse designed a hand-crafted middle axle assembly and custom frame using 1/4-inch thick steel to help support the two additional wheels.

With full-time six-wheel drive (6×6), the Hellcat engine has even more rubber to put that awesome horsepower down to the ground. Not just some extra axle thrown on like some builds, the Apocalypse team helped integrate their additional axle with the current TRX suspension by using OEM parts like the TRX’s 2.6-inch Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks. The Warlock 6×6 also retains the TRX’s 8 different drive modes (Normal, Sport, Snow, Custom, Baja, Rock, and Mud/Sand).

One YouTube channel, The Triple F Collection, purchased one of the quarter of a million dollar off-roaders. We featured them jumping the massive 6×6 in a previous article. However, recently the YouTubers took to the air once again with the truck and although they jumped the truck several times before, this time it ended a bit differently.

With all of that extra weight, you have to make sure that you are going fast enough to clear the gap you are jumping. However, on this run, they were going way too slow and ended up stuffing their Warlord into the opposite dirt mound. Of course, damage ensued to the massively expensive off-roader and to the passengers. Luckily everyone seemed alright after a period of time went by.

As for the Warlord 6×6, the YouTubers haven’t posted what broke on the truck just yet. It appears that a tie-rod broke on the driver’s side and there is massive front damage to the truck. It appears that the front bumper skid plate took most of the brunt force. It could have been pushed inward enough to be hitting the front lower part of the engine, but until they release what needs to be fixed, we won’t know for sure.

Nevertheless, the video goes to show just how unpredictable things can be even in a blink of an eye. Even if you have done the same thing a number of times.
