Gobi Is Back, But For A Limited Time...
The Jeep® brand announced earlier today, that its popular Gobi (PUA) exterior paint is returning for a limited time on the 2022 Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler. The popular color is named after the famous desert in Asia and continues the brand’s lineup of limited edition color production runs, which have included Chief, Nacho, Gecko Green, and Tuscadero. The later was the most popular color for the 2021 model year.
“Customization is at the core of both Jeep Gladiator and Jeep Wrangler,” said Jim Morrison, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep North America. “Gobi is the fifth special-edition color the Jeep brand has offered on the current generations of Gladiator and Wrangler, in addition to Tuscadero, Gecko, Nacho, and Chief, all of which strengthen the enthusiastic identity of our loyal and avid Jeep community”.
Gobi first debuted on the Jeep Gladiator for the 2020 model year and now makes an anticipated return to the Gladiator exterior palette. The 2022 model year marks the first time Gobi is available on the Jeep Wrangler.
The Gobi paint color has a U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $495. For Canadian customers, Gobi is a no charge option. The color will be available from now until June 2022. It will be avaiable on all Gladiator and Wrangler models.
