Yesterday, FCA Canada reported its official sales numbers for the final quarter and overall yearly totals for 2020. While the final quarter proved to be an improvement of 5% with 46,495 units sold. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic, a shut down in production for three months, and a high unemployment rate pushed a 20% loss in sales for FCA Canada during 2020. The automaker still managed to have 178,752 units leave dealerships throughout the year.
“I commend our dealer network coast-to-coast for their careful work and dedication through a very difficult year,” said David Buckingham, President and CEO, FCA Canada. “They faced each challenge head-on and with a positive attitude, putting the safety of our customers and their staff first. Our growth in retail market share is proof positive that this was and continues to be the right approach.”
So let’s take a look at the performance of the FCA brands in Canada…

Chrysler’s 300 Series had a disapointing year in the Canadian marketplace. But the big Chrysler sedan still pulled off almost double the amount of sales for Canada as the entire FIAT brand.
