The First 2021 Ram 1500 Rebel Launch Edition Has Been Delivered In Brazil:

Rest Of The Launch Edition Models Will Be Delivered This Week...

Last Friday (April 23rd), Claudio Teixeira officially became the first owner of a 2021 Ram 1500 Rebel Launch Edition in Brazil. A resident of Ponta Grossa (PR), the businessman went to pick up the long-awaited pickup truck at the Divesa Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram dealership, in Londrina, northern Paraná. The delivery is the first of the 100 Launch Edition pre-sale units which sold out in just 18 hours. The remaining copies of what Ram Brazil is marketing as the only “premium muscle truck” on the market will be distributed over the next few days.

The new Ram 1500 Rebel Crew Cab 4×4 is the fourth Ram to pass through Teixeira’s garage and will join a 2020 Ram 2500 Laramie Crew Cab 4×4, and a 1971 Dodge D100. “I have been in love with trucks since I was a child and at this point in my life I can afford to have a vehicle like this”, says Teixeira.

Teixeira, who is an entrepreneur, spent the afternoon covering nearly 300 kilometers (or about 186 miles) between the dealership and the city where he lives. “The next day I went to the coast with her. I have done more than 850 kilometers (497 miles) so far ”, says the entrepreneur in the transport industry. “Rebel is a show. It has very good torque and great stability, not to mention the silence and comfort it provides. Those who [have ridden] with me loved it and I think those who see it from the outside too. Because wherever it goes, it draws attention.”

Despite his desire to drive his Rebel, Teixeira will not leave his 2500 behind. “It is my travel car. Not long ago I went to Rio Grande do Norte with her and next month I will go to the Midwest, ”he says. “I like the Ram 2500 so much that I [drove] to Alaska and came back with the 2016 model that I had”, says the businessman about the adventure he did in several stages, returning home and then resuming where he left the truck, which regrets having sold.“

With the Ram 1500, Teixeira plans to take shorter trips and even use it during the week. “I want to have fun with my grandchildren, but also to go to work sometimes. Rebel is quite different, [like] having a sports car performance without losing comfort. I am willing to take advantage of it a lot ”, he concluded.
