YouTuber Builds Awesome Off-Road Dodge Viper R/T10

Gen2 Roadster Shows Its Tough Enough Off-Road...

In a jaw-dropping automotive transformation, YouTuber Matt Brown (@SuperFastMatt) has turned a classic Dodge Viper R/T10 Roadster into an off-road beast that defies convention. What was once a sleek and speedy supercar now roars across desert terrain, conquering everything from jumps to rock-crawling with surprising agility.

The Dodge Viper is legendary for its performance on the track and the street, but off-roading? That’s a new twist. Brown’s project began with a vision: to create a one-of-a-kind off-road machine from a car never meant for dusty trails. Despite the skepticism, the result is undeniably cool.

The transformation process involved a complete overhaul of the Viper’s design. The car’s body was modified with cut fenders and fitted with massive all-terrain tires, giving it an aggressive stance for any terrain. Custom front suspension uprights were engineered to accommodate aftermarket long-travel shocks and springs. In contrast, the rear suspension was swapped out for a rugged solid axle from a Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon, complete with a locking differential.

Under the hood, the Viper’s 8.0-liter (488 cubic-inch) VIPER V-10 engine and 6-speed Tremec T-56 manual transmission remain untouched. Despite its off-road capabilities, the Viper still packs the same raw power and performance, making it a legend on the track.

Brown didn’t shy away from putting his creation through its paces. From donuts and jumps to slow-speed rock crawling, the Viper tackled each challenge with gusto. While there were minor hiccups along the way, including overheating coolant and some interior trim coming loose, the overall performance was impressive.

What started as a wild idea has become a reality, showcasing the ingenuity and creativity of automotive enthusiasts like SuperFastMatt. His modified Dodge Viper R/T10 proves that with the right vision and determination, even the most unlikely candidates can be transformed into something extraordinary.
