Yesterday, Jeep® unveiled two new versions of its popular Wrangler lineup celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the off-road-oriented Rubicon model. Available in either plug-in hybrid (PHEV) 4xe or HEMI® V8-powered 392, the Rubicon 20th Anniversary Editions offer a limited edition to both sides of the performance spectrum.
The new 20th Anniversary Editions add a number of new enhancements on top of the standard Rubicon equipment, like a new seven-slot grille design, a set of beadlock-capable wheels, an 83-piece tool kit, triple hoop grille guard, steel bumpers, half-inch suspension lift, red interior highlights, and special anniversary decals. But what if that isn’t enough?
Exclusive to the Rubicon 20th Anniversary editions and limited to just 150 units, an available Rubicon 20th Anniversary Level II upfit by American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) brings 37-inch tires to the Wrangler for the first time, taking the Wrangler Rubicon’s legendary 4×4 capability to an even higher level.
