TSR Nitro Teams To Wear Sublime-Colored Paint Schemes On 2023 NHRA Entries
High-Impact Color Will Pay Homage To Current-Gen Charger & Challenger...
The 2023 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series is set to begin in a little over a month. NHRA teams are rushing to put the final touches on their equipment in preparation for the first event, the iconic NHRA Gatornationals.
For the past two days, the Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) teams of Leah Pruett and Matt Hagan have been releasing teasers of the new color schemes that both drivers will be carrying in 2023.
Because the current-gen Dodge Charger and Challenger are coming to an end after the 2023 model year, Dodge is paying homage to the muscle car duo with a set of “Last Call” special edition models and the return of some of the brand’s most popular “high-impact” colors, including “Sublime” green.
To celebrate, both Leah and Matt will be wearing a special Sublime and Black paint scheme to celebrate the return of Sublime to the lineup.
Sublime was first introduced during the 1970 model year on all Dodge vehicles except the Polara and Monaco models. In 2007, Dodge produced a limited number of Charger R/T Daytona models with Sublime exteriors. Most recently, Sublime was available across the Dodge Charger and Challenger vehicle lineup during the 2019 model year.
The return of Sublime brings a sense of performance nostalgia and powerful bursts of high-impact paint color to highways and dragstrips across the country.
Look for the two new Dodge//SRT Direct Connection racers to take to track at the 2023 AMALIE Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida from March 9th to the 12th.
