SpeedKore/Magnaflow Create Carbon Fiber Twin-Turbo AWD Charger Widebody For SEMA:

Twin-Turbo, AWD, Carbon Fiber Charger Widebody To Be Huge Hit...

Dodge//SRT has upped the ante this year with the introduction of the new 2020 Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT Widebody. Not only does the new Charger Widebody, improve the track handling performance of the outgoing 2019 Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT, but also adds a more aggressive look to the large sedan. But what happens when that isn’t enough?

Our friends over at SpeedKore Performance Group have created something special for this year’s  Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. While many of our readers will remember that not only is the SpeedKore team known for their carbon-fiber Mopar creations like the 1970 Dodge Charger Evolution, but also were the creators of the twin-turbocharged carbon-fiber bodied Dodge Challenger SRT Demon that NHRA Top Fuel driver Leah Pritchett drove to break the Demon world-record last year. Now the company along with exhaust manufacturer Magnaflow have built a special Charger SRT HELLCAT Widebody.

Starting out with a 2020 Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT Widebody the SpeedKore team went to work to build the ultimate modern-day Dodge Charger. The car has been outfitted with a number of carbon fiber parts, what exactly is a secret for now and will be released at the debut of the car at the SEMA show. However, SpeedKore is telling us that they have gotten rid of the HELLCAT HEMI V8 in favor for a twin-turbocharged 6.2-liter Demon HEMI V8. That being said we can expect over 1,000 horsepower. Magnaflow created a custom-valved exhaust system for the car, that exits out behind the front bumper for track use and then can easily be switched to flow through a MagnaFlow Competition Series exhaust when driving on the street.

While that may sound exciting, the build doesn’t stop there. Sometimes, it can be a challenge to put over 1,000 horsepower to the ground, so the SpeedKore has solved that issue by making this car all-wheel-drive. That’s right, a twin-turbocharged, Demon-powered, all-wheel-drive Charger Widebody.

The car will be unveiled at the Magnaflow Booth in the SEMA Central Hall/Performance Hall on Tuesday, November 5th at 10:00 am PST. The event will be broadcasted on Magnaflow’s Facebook page as well as here on MoparInsiders.com.
