Last Friday, we told you about the new limited edition 2020 Jeep® Gladiator “Three O Five” along with its Wrangler Unlimited sibling that made its debut at the Miami International Auto Show in Miami, Florida. Well, it seems that there is even more news for the all-new Gladiator in Miami also.
The new Jeep midsize pickup has been named “Best Off-Road Vehicle” for 2019, by Sobre Ruedas, the leading Spanish-language automotive radio show in the United States. The award adds to the growing list of accolades that the Gladiator has achieved since its debut at last year’s L.A. Auto Show.
“The Jeep Gladiator is a midsize truck that truly dominates in both on- and off-road driving while providing a high level of versatility that today’s customers demand,” said Jaime Florez, director and host of Sobre Ruedas. “No other truck of any size offers the unique experience of open-air driving while also having the capability to tackle any obstacle thrown its way, all in a very attractive package.”
According to Sobre Rudeas, an executive committee was responsible for generating the nominations. A panel of automotive industry experts then selected the winners of the awards for 12 categories, which also included Sobre Ruedas Vehicle of the Year.
