Jeep® Gears Up For This Year’s Moab Easter Jeep Safari:

All-New Battery Electric Vehicle Will Make Its Debut...

The Jeep® brand will return to Moab at the end of this month for the return of the Moab Easter Jeep Safari. The news comes after last year’s event was canceled due to the start of the pandemic, forcing the Jeep brand to keep several of its concept vehicles under wraps from last year. But now, Jeep is giving us a slight tease at a couple of its upcoming concepts that it will bring to the annual event this year.

Jeep® Wrangler Magneto Concept Sketch. (Jeep).

The first teaser is that of the new Jeep Wrangler Magneto Concept. Building on the new 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4xe, the Magneto ditches the Wrangler Unlimited 4xe’s plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) powertrain in favor of a two-door all battery electric vehicle (BEV) powertrain. Jeep gave us a sneak peek of its new Magneto Concept, with a teaser video on Jeep.com last month. This will be the Jeep brand’s first electrified two-door Wrangler.

Jeep® Wrangler Unknown Concept Sketch. (Jeep).

The second teaser is that of an unknown two-door Jeep Wrangler using numerous Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) by Mopar. Both the Jeep and Mopar brands have been known to bring JPP-accessorised vehicles to the event showcasing a number of the available and conceptual parts to get customer feedback. We wouldn’t be surprised if this is one of them.

Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept. (Jeep).

Last year, originally named “Apache” after its 6.4-liter 392 cubic-inch HEMI V8 engine, the Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept showcased not only what would become the production 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392. The vehicle also previewed the recently introduced Mopar half-doors, something that Jeep enthusiasts have been waiting for since the debut of the Wrangler (JL) in 2017. We expect that the Rubicon 392 Concept will also make an appearance.

2021 Jeep® Gladiator Farout Concept. (Jeep).

We also expect last year’s Jeep Gladiator Farout Concept, to make an appearance. The Gladiator Farout builds on the popularity of the Jeep Gladiator Wayout Concept from the 2019 Moab Easter Jeep Safari and adds go-anywhere, do-anything functionality while taking off-road exploration to the next level. The Jeep Farout Concept benefits from Gladiator’s class-leading 4×4 payload and the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine’s long-range fuel efficiency to go even further off the beaten path.

The Moab Easter Jeep Safari will take place at the end of this month, starting on Friday, March 27th till Sunday, April 4th. Stay tuned to MoparInsiders.com, as we will bring you the latest from Moab.
