Jeep® Brand Is Looking For Record Sales Year In Canada:

Overall Sales Are Down 4% Versus September 2017...

FCA Canada has reported sales of 17,698 vehicles for the month of September. The Jeep brand is looking at setting a new sales record for the year in Canada. Sales for the Jeep brand are up 25% over last year thus far.

Jeep®:
The Jeep brand remains on pace for another stellar year with sales of 59,052 vehicles, a 9% increase compared with the same time last year. For the month, Jeep brand sales of 5,033 were up 25%. Leading the charge for Jeep was the iconic Wrangler with 1,535 sales, marking a 62% jump from September 2017 results. Jeep Grand Cherokee also saw a significant increase from the prior year with sales of 956, up 31%; while Jeep Compass sales of 702 vehicles were up 28% during the same timeframe. There was 1 left over Jeep Patriot in inventory which was sold during the month.

Ram:
Ram truck brand reported sales of 7,249 vehicles for the month. That was down 11% compared to the same time last year. Ram pickup sales were 6,903 for the month. Ram ProMaster City sales dropped a whopping 62% to only 18 units for the whole country. ProMaster City sales are down 51% at current moment over the same period last year.

2018 Chrysler Pacifica Limited. (Chrysler).

Chrysler:
Chrysler brand reported sales of 532 vehicles for the month. Chrysler 300 sales of 341 vehicles were up 210% compared with the previous year. Sales of the Chrysler Pacifica were down with by 57% this past month, versus last September. Only 191 Pacifica models were sold in Canada for the month. However, sales for the Pacifica are 15% higher so far this year over the same time period last year.

Dodge:
Dodge brand reported sales of 4,717 vehicles for the month. Dodge Charger sales of 626 were up 422% from the prior year; while Dodge Durango sales of 1,121 were up 161%. Grand Caravan sales were down 35% in September, versus the prior year. However, Grand Caravan did sell over 13 times as many units as the much newer Chrysler Pacifica. There was also 1 Dodge Viper in left over inventory sold during the month of September.

2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti.(Alfa Romeo).

Alfa Romeo:
Alfa Romeo brand reported sales of 107 vehicles for the month. Stelvio led the way for Alfa with an increase of 61% over the prior year with 61 vehicles sold. Last month, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio earned a pair of accolades: it was named Performance SUV of the Year by the Automotive Video Association (AVA) at their second annual Automotive Video Awards competition, and the 505-horsepower SUV was named the Northwest’s Most Fun-to-drive Vehicle and Most Fun SUV by the Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA) at their 12th annual “Run to the Sun” media drive event.

Fiat:
The Fiat brand struggled throughout the entire month of September. The brand as a whole was down 61% compared to the month of September last year. Sales of the Fiat 500 fell 73% with only 22 units for the month. The 124 Spider also only sold 22 units for the month. While only 15 people took home a new 500X in September. Fiat dealers only managed to sell 1 500L model across the country for the month, compared to 7 units during the same time last year.
