The Jeep® Avenger (JJ) just keeps winning—this time by locking in its spot as the best-selling SUV in Italy for April 2025. According to fresh numbers from Dataforce, the Avenger wasn’t just the top SUV last month, but also led the category across the entire first quarter of the year. And it gets better: the subcompact Jeep also landed as the second-best-selling vehicle overall in April and fourth overall since January.

Built to fit European streets and lifestyles, the Avenger has hit a sweet spot for buyers looking for a mix of rugged Jeep style, compact dimensions, and real versatility. Whether you’re after gas, hybrid, or full electric, the Avenger lineup has something for everyone.
Buyers can choose the efficient 1.2-liter turbocharged gas engine with a manual transmission, the e-Hybrid version with an automatic transmission, or go all-in with the new all-wheel-drive (AWD) Avenger 4xe. That last one brings serious Jeep capability to the smallest model in the lineup. It pairs a 48-volt hybrid setup—featuring a turbo gas engine and two electric motors—for a combined 145 horsepower and confident off-road chops.

The 4xe version even comes in three trims, including a limited-run North Face Edition with only 4,806 units available—symbolizing the height of Mont Blanc. Jeep and The North Face partnered to create this rugged, stylish variant, complete with Summit Gold accents, topographic designs, and tough interior materials made for outdoor adventures.
It’s not just the Avenger doing well in Europe either. The Jeep Renegade and Compass also continue strong, now offered in a premium North Star edition that blends upscale looks with everyday functionality. Renegade 4xe in particular remains a leader in the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) B-SUV market.

With the Avenger leading the way and the rest of the lineup staying competitive, Jeep’s strategy to offer freedom of choice in a crowded marketplace is clearly paying off.
