The subcompact Jeep® Avenger (JJ) has achieved a significant milestone in the European automotive market, surpassing 100,000 customer orders since its launch. This achievement underscores the utility vehicle (UV) popularity and success in the competitive B-UV segment, where it was named Car of the Year in 2023 and has garnered sixteen additional awards.
The Jeep Avenger, designed in Turin and manufactured in Europe, has been celebrated for blending advanced technology with the iconic Jeep design ethos. The success of the Jeep Avenger can be attributed to its versatility, offering three engine options, two transmissions, and, soon, the availability of all-wheel drive (AWD) with the upcoming 4xe variant. The introduction of the new Avenger e-Hybrid further expands the lineup, providing a hybrid option designed to integrate electric driving capabilities seamlessly. This move reflects Jeep’s dedication to sustainable mobility solutions, with BEV variants already accounting for 25% of total sales.
The Avenger e-Hybrid features an advanced 48-volt hybrid system, combining a 100-horsepower internal combustion engine with a 21-kW electric motor. This setup allows for efficient hybrid operation and reduced CO2 emissions, adapting dynamically to driving conditions for optimal performance.
