Eric Laforge Has Been Named CEO of Jeep® Europe
Will Lead Brand Into Electrified Future...
Eric Laforge has been appointed as Head of Jeep® Europe, effective February 1st, 2023. He replaces Antonella Bruno, who will take a corresponding position at Peugeot. Laforge will report to Christian Meunier – Jeep CEO and Uwe Hochgeschurtz – CEO of Stellantis Europe.
Laforge began his career at FCA in 1990. After several years in France and Italy, he was appointed CEO of FCA Switzerland and then CEO of FCA Germany. Between 2015 to 2018, he was the Head of Mopar Parts & Series for Europe. In 2019, he became Head of Central Europe for Passenger and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), before taking a position as Stellantis’ Head of LCVs for Europe in 2021.
“I would like to thank Mrs. Bruno for her accomplishments guiding the Jeep brand in Europe during the last three years and, of course, overseeing the success of the fully-electric Jeep Avenger B-UV winning the 2023 ‘European Car of the Year’ award,” Meunier said.
“I am sure Laforge has all the skills needed to take over the reins of our operation in Europe at a significant moment for the brand, as we continue to expand our fully-electrified range in the region. His 30 years of experience in multiple areas of our industry will be the key to our future success,” Meunier concluded.
