With the imminent start of production for the updated 2025 Ram 1500 (DT) scheduled on Monday, February 5th, 2024, at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP) in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Ram Truck enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the forthcoming lineup. Car and Driver has offered a sneak peek into the pricing structures for several upcoming models, shedding light on introductory prices and enticing features that will characterize the latest Ram offerings.

Among the highlighted details, the Tradesman, Laramie, Rebel, Limited, Limited Longhorn, and the all-new Tungsten models stand out with their starting prices and distinctive offerings. Each model will carry a $1,995 destination charge, setting the baseline for these sought-after vehicles.

The Tradesman and Big Horn (known as Lone Star in Texas) are set to feature the familiar 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with a 48-volt eTorque mild-hybrid system as standard, while offering the option to upgrade to the standard-output version of the Hurricane I6 engine, providing an impressive 420 horsepower and 469 lb.-ft. of torque for an added $2,695. Notably, this engine upgrade becomes standard on the Laramie and Rebel trims, exclusively powering trucks with the Crew Cab and 6-foot-4-inch bed configuration.

Meanwhile, the Limited and Limited Longhorn trims exhibit a distinctive variation in powertrain offerings. The rear-wheel-drive (4×2) Limited and Limited Longhorn trims will debut with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine as standard, presenting the 420 horsepower Hurricane as an optional upgrade. Conversely, the four-wheel-drive (4×4) iterations of these trims will showcase the high-output (H.O.) version of the Hurricane I6 engine as the standard, boasting an impressive 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft. of torque.

The pinnacle of luxury and performance comes with the introduction of the all-new Tungsten trim. Featuring solely the Hurricane H.O. engine and four-wheel-drive capability in the Crew Cab 5-foot, 7-inch configuration, the Tungsten elevates the Ram 1500 lineup with an array of opulent features. Notable inclusions encompass a suite of premium enhancements, from a 23-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system to a 24-way power seat with massage function, highlighting the commitment to luxury and cutting-edge technology.
