Chrysler Opens Up Ordering For Its New 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Lineup:

The Chrysler brand has opened up ordering for its redesigned 2021 Chrysler Pacifica lineup. The 2021 version of the most award-winning minivan in the segment, brings forth more standard safety features than any vehicle in the industry, a refreshed exterior and interior, and upgraded technology, such as the new Uconnect 5 system.

“For more than 35 years, Chrysler has led innovation, and the new 2021 Chrysler Pacifica and Pacifica all-wheel-drive (AWD), with more standard safety features than any vehicle in the industry, [is] designed to build on that position,” said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “Add in all-wheel-drive capability paired with Stow ‘n Go seating, the only plug-in hybrid minivan, the new premium Pinnacle model, and the new 2021 Pacifica is America’s most capable and most technologically advanced minivan.”

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica lineup consists of four models, Touring, Touring-L, Limited, and the new premium Pinnacle model. While only the Touring and Touring-L models offer a gasoline front-wheel-drive configuration, Hybrid front-wheel-drive and AWD are offered across the entire lineup. 

The new 2021 Chrysler Pacifica adds the following new standard features for the new model year…

• Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
• Blind-Spot Monitoring
• Rear Cross Path Detection
• ParkSense Rear Park Assist
• Adaptive Cruise Control with Full Stop
• Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
• Forward Collision Warning
• Lane Departure Warning

The all-new Uconnect 5 touchscreen system, is standard across the lineup 2021 Chrysler Pacifica lineup, includes the largest-in-class 10.1-inch touchscreen is 20% larger than the 8.4-inch screen than it replaces. The new Uconnect 5 software is five-times faster than the Uconnect 4 system it replaces. The new system also includes Amazon Alexa capabilities.

The 2021 models also include options like the new available FamCAM interior camera, which delivers a best-in-class, high-definition image and allows the driver a view of rear-facing child seat occupants in the second row and even allows them to zoom in on passengers. There are also new USB Type-C ports that allow occupants’ devices to charge up to four times faster than the standard USB outlets.

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, continues as America’s only plug-in hybrid minivan. It retains the same starting price as the 2020 model it replaces. The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid delivers more than 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) in electric-only mode, an all-electric range of more than 30 miles, and a total range of more than 500 miles.

There will be ten exterior colors for the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica which include, Billet Silver, Bright White, Brilliant Black, Granite Crystal, Luxury White, Maximum Steel, Ocean Blue Metallic, Velvet Red, Ceramic Grey, and Fathom Blue (Late Availability).

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica, will be built at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Windsor, Ontario, alongside the Chrysler Voyager (U.S. marketplace) and the Chrysler Grand Caravan (Canadian marketplace) and is scheduled to arrive in dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2020.
