Jeep® Brazil Introduces 2022 Compass Turbodiesel Lineup:

Ordering Is Now Open In Brazil...

Jeep® Brazil has officially opened up its pre-ordering for its new turbodiesel-powered 2022 Jeep Compass lineup this week. According to the brand, the Compass models with the TD350 (the Brazilian was of saying turbodiesel with 350 Nm of torque) will be available on the same pre-order website as the 80th Anniversary Edition gasoline-powered models.

2022 Jeep® Compass Trailhawk TD350 4×4. (Jeep).

Under the hood of the diesel models is a turbocharged 2.0-liter Multijet II inline-four-cylinder diesel making 170 horsepower and 258 ft.-lb. (350Nm) of torque. Each of the TD350 models come with a 9-speed automatic and four-wheel-drive (4×4) as standard equipment. The combination is good for 10.3 km / l in the city and 13.5 km / l on the highway (24 mpg city and 32 mpg on the highway). This means the turbodiesel Compass models have a range more than 800 km (about 500 miles) with a 60 liter (16 gallon) fuel tank.

According to the Jeep Brazil, the ordering process for the diesel opened on April 20th with four models being available (Longitude, 80th Anniversary Edition, Limited, and Trailhawk).

2022 Jeep® Compass Longitude TD350 4×4. (Jeep).

All 2022 Jeep Compass models will feature new wheel designs, full LED headlamps, at least six airbags, more technology thanks to the new 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For those opting with the popular Longitude model, it will include a 7-inch thin-film-transistor (TFT) instrument cluster, 18-inch wheels, leather seats, and electrochromic rearview mirror. Pricing will start at R $ 196,990 (or about $35,370 USD) for the Longitude.

The 80th Anniversary Edition diesel model will include the same exclusive items on the gasoline model. That means the darkened finishes both inside and outside, 80th Anniversary Edition badges, the Premium Package (Beats Premium Sound System, Remote Start, and Park Assist) and everything else that comes standard on the Longitude model. The 80th Anniversary Edition starts at R $ 204,990 (or about $36,810 USD).

2022 Jeep® Compass Limited TD350 4×4. (Jeep).

The premium Limited model comes with new 19-inch wheels, seven airbags, Park Assist, leather seats, Remote Start, Blind-Spot Monitoring, power driving seat, and a black-painted roof as standard equipment. The Limited model starts at R$ 216,990 (or about $38,965).
