Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack Takes on One Lap of America
@mopartechjordan Checks Out Dodge's EV Scat Pack In It's First Motorsports Competition

This week, our good friend Jordan Rose (@mopartechjordan) got the chance to check out something that’s not just cool—it’s history in the making. While at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), he caught up with David Carr, SRT Vehicle Dynamics Performance Engineer at Dodge, to talk about their eMuscle car entry in the 2025 One Lap of America event: the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack Stage 2.

Now this thing is built to run, and it’s doing exactly that across over 3,500 miles and nine tracks in just one week. It’s the first time Dodge has put their all-electric Charger into a full-on, real-world motorsports challenge like this, and Jordan got to see it firsthand.
Under the sleek black-and-orange wrap—complete with the bold Fratzog badge—is a stock Daytona Scat Pack Stage 2, aside from a required roll cage and gutted hatch and rear seat area. It’s running in the Alternative Fuel class, with Carr himself behind the wheel and Sean Yoder of DodgeGarage.com co-driving.

The Charger Daytona looked right at home on the road course at VIR. In Jordan’s video you can hear the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust as it passes by down the straightaway. Thanks to the Direct Connection Stage 2 package, which gives the car 670 horsepower and its all-wheel-drive (AWD) capability, the Charger Daytona Scat Pack appears to put the power down on the road course.
During the interview, Carr discussed how this event pushes every car component—brakes, cooling, suspension tuning, and battery management—all in real-world conditions. One Lap isn’t just hot laps at a track; it’s highway miles, hotel parking lots, and driver fatigue. It’s the ultimate durability test, and Dodge is in it to prove its new eMuscle car can handle it.

If you’re as curious as I was about how this new electric Charger is doing out there, head to DodgeGarage.com for the full coverage and updates. And be sure to follow Jordan on YouTube, as he continues to dig into the new EVs from Stellantis.
