On Friday morning, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the fisherman reporting a black Jeep Wrangler (JL) submerged about forty feet from the Woody’s Camp boat ramp at Lake O’ the Pines. Deputies arrived at the scene and found a local wrecker service to assist in removing the Jeep from the water.
But to everyone’s surprise, a person was still in the vehicle and moving. With the help of the wrecker service, the fisherman, and the deputies, they safely rescued a female from the submerged Wrangler.
The woman was immediately transported to a local hospital by EMS. During the incident, it was discovered that she was a missing person from the Longview Texas Police Department.
