VIDEO: The MoparInsiders’ Trackhawk VS The BigBadAmericanMotors Dodge Demon!

Having A Little Fun With Our Buddy Dave Hayes...

Back in late September, I drove the MoparInsiders long-term 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Toronto, Ontario, to take part in our friend Dave Hayes’s private track rental. We had a ton of fun at the event, and Dave even allowed me to get behind the wheel of his 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon for some quarter-mile passes.

The next weekend, before I made the four day long drive back to British Columbia, Dave and I decided to head out to Toronto Motorsports Park for a test and tune again with both vehicles. The Density Altitude (DA) was around 2000 feet, and the track prep was pretty good to start with.

I made a few passes, setting a personal best at the time pass of 11.87 in the Trackhawk, which I then bested upon returning home the next week. We also got to run the Trackhawk against the Demon. After that, Dave and I switched vehicles, with me behind the wheel of his Demon yet again, and him taking the Trackhawk for a couple passes for the first time. What happened? You’ll have to watch the video above to find out!
