Twin-Turbo Ram 1500 RHO Arrives On Dealer Lots

The Newest Ram Performance Off-Roader Has Arrived...

The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO has finally arrived, offering off-road enthusiasts a truck that blends high performance, advanced technology, and premium features, all at an incredible value. With a starting price of $69,995 (excluding $1,995 destination charge), the Ram 1500 RHO offers the best horsepower per dollar ($129.60 per HP) in its class, making it the go-to choice for drivers seeking power, efficiency, and off-road capability.

Performance and Power: 540 HP Hurricane Engine –

Under the hood of the Ram 1500 RHO is the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter HURRICANE High-Output (H/O) I-6 engine, which produces an impressive 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft. of torque. This H/O engine is part of Stellantis’ innovative HURRICANE twin-turbo family, offering more horsepower and torque than many naturally aspirated V8 and turbocharged six-cylinder engines. The RHO’s engine delivers an optimal balance of power, fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions, setting a new standard in the light-duty off-road truck segment.

Off-Road Excellence with Bilstein Shocks and Active Terrain Dynamics –

The RHO is engineered for off-road supremacy with Bilstein BlackHawk e2 adaptive performance shocks, designed to provide excellent on-road handling and exceptional off-road performance. These shocks are tuned to offer a balanced ride while maintaining class-leading off-road capability. Additionally, the Active Terrain Dynamics suspension management system enhances body roll control, providing superior ride comfort and handling on all surfaces.

The truck’s frame has been specially modified to support up to 14 inches of rear axle travel—40% more than the standard Ram 1500 models—allowing for superior off-road capability without sacrificing cargo space in the truck bed. With 35-inch tires and a 2-inch ride height increase, the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO offers 11.8 inches of ground clearance, making it ready to take on any obstacles in its path.

Premium Interior Features and Technology –

The interior is lined with high-end materials, including available hand-wrapped leather instrument panels, providing an unexpected touch of luxury for an off-road vehicle. The RHO features over 50 inches of combined available digital display screens, including an optional 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 reconfigurable touchscreen and a 10.25-inch front passenger display. The passenger screen can manage navigation, entertainment, device control, and exterior cameras, making the ride more enjoyable for everyone in the truck.

For added convenience, the Ram 1500 RHO offers an optional full-color, 10-inch Head-Up Display (HUD), showing key driving information, including a new digital tachometer, directly on the windshield.

70k is not an incredible value. People are taking out loans way over the normal 4 or 5 years to get the latest and greatest truck. I think truck manufacturers have gone off the deep end with pricing. Yes you get a lot of truck but is it worth the price. Add tax, title and fees and your at 80k. Way too much.

100% agree. I have a feeling ur like me, in the sense that ur entire life's experience w trucks (until relatively recently) has u accustomed to trucks being the most affordable/accessible vehicles out there (at least the base model/entry level ones wout options), RATHER THAN the current trend of trucks being the manufacturers flagship vehicle, that are highly optioned as base models, and therefore drastically more expensive, whether or not you want It that way. To be fair tho, manufacturers didn't make that change and hope customers would buy. Not sure who the people were, but that's what people/market (or at least enuf of the market) demanded. Not being an off-road guy whatsoever tho, I wud never consider the current performance trucks available. UNLESS, a manufacturer would offer a performance street truck (i.e. a current version of when dodge made the srt10 truck). At present, the most appealing new truck out there is the "sleeper F150". Mostly bc available the way trucks still SHOULD BE imo. Which is to say u CAN get evthing u desire, but also available w evthing u actually need/want, wout the added expense of all the b.s. you DONT. Sleeper f150 is a blown v8 700+hp new truck, w a price tag of ~ $48k. Not that $48k is "cheap" for that, but a helluva lot better than $80k-$120k (and beyond).

No, the F150 is not the most appealing new truck.

Although not a truck buyer I think this is a very exciting and appealing truck. Definitely the best Ram offering. I’ve seen its predecessor up close many times and was very impressed. I might not buy one, but I sure like this RHO with the powerful Hurricane engine, more than enough power for most buyer. Should do well. But I’m not a truck buyer but my eyes tell me this is a winner. Good job Ram.
