UPDATED: Tuffy Security Products Unveils Jeep® Gladiator In-Bed Storage System:
New Storage System Integrates With Optional Bestop Tonneau Cover...
Last week at the 2019 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, our friends at Tuffy Security Products, unveiled an innovative new pickup bed storage system for the 2020 Jeep® Gladiator. The new storage system consists of two 16-gauge, 1/8-inch thick welded steel compartments mounted on each side of the Gladiators pickup bed. Each side is divided into three separate compartments, each with a lockable steel lid, which is covered with a sturdy yet lightweight composite material for weather resistance, and have push-button locks allowing each lid to latch shut without having to lock with the key.
These storage boxes still allow the use of the optional 110-volt powerpoint mounted in the Gladiator’s bed, and the factory bed lights are retained as well. The new storage boxes also come with a nylon net, which can be affixed to the multiple BullRing® tie-downs that are attached to the sides of the lockboxes to help secure larger items in the Gladiator’s bed.
The really trick piece, in my opinion, is the optional Bestop folding soft tonneau cover, which fits between the Tuffy lockboxes. This complete system transforms the bet of the Gladiator into a secure, weatherproof storage system, providing even more versatility to Jeep Gladiator owners.

Tuffy took home two awards from the SEMA show for their innovate Jeep Gladiator storage solution. SEMA’s Truck and Off-Road Association (TORA) awarded Tuffy with thier Light Truck Product Award, while Tuffy took home the runner-up award for the Best New Van/Pickup/SUV Product presented by SEMA.
