It is a big day for the Jeep® brand, with the re-introduction of one of the brand’s most popular nameplates – the Wagoneer. It has been more than a decade since it was announced that the Wagoneer nameplate would return to the brand’s lineup and the first full-size body-on-frame SUV from Chrysler Group since the discontinuation of the 1993 Dodge RamCharger.
The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and the ultra-premium Grand Wagoneer (WS) enter the full-size luxury SUV segment to take on offerings from General Motors (GM) like the Cadillac Escalade and GMC Yukon Denali, as well as the Ford Motor Company offerings like the Lincoln Navigator, and international competition like the Lexus LX, BMW X7, and Range Rover.
