Stellantis Brazil (Fiat Chrysler Automóveis Brasil Ltda.) has issued a recall of approximately 23,789 units of 2021 and 2022 model year Strada, Fiorino, Grand Siena, and Uno models. The voluntary recall has owners scheduling an appointment with the local FIAT Brazil dealer, so that the dealer can perform an inspection and, if necessary, replace the affected vehicles’ fuel pump – free of charge.
An issue was found that the fuel pumps produced between July 2nd, 2021 and July 12th, 2021, can present an internal operating problem ultimately interrupting the delivery of fuel to the engine with the vehicle in motion. This increases the possibility of an accident, physical damage to property, or could possibly be fatal to the vehicle occupants and/or third parties.
The services will be carried out by prior appointment in order to avoid crowding, respecting the safety guidelines of the Ministry of Health. For this reason, it is important that you contact the dealer of your choice to be informed about your service forecast. The estimated repair time is approximately 90 minutes.
