Ram Turns Up The Volume With Second New Year’s Day Teaser

A Seismic Hint At What’s Coming On January 1, 2026

If you’ve been tied up with family, travel, or holiday gatherings, you might have missed it—but Ram Trucks dropped another major clue about what it has planned for New Year’s Day. Following last week’s mysterious teaser, Ram is back with a second video and a pair of images that turn up both the intensity and the speculation surrounding its January 1, 2026 reveal.

This latest teaser shifts the visual theme from sand and wind to something far more aggressive. The video shows rocks violently moving across the ground, almost as if the earth itself is shaking. The sound design is what really grabs your attention, though. Underneath the visuals is what unmistakably sounds like a deep, rumbling V8 exhaust note. It’s subtle, but it’s there—and Ram clearly wants people to notice.

Text flashes on the screen reading, “The Truck Landscape Is About To Change.” The accompanying social media caption doubles down on that message: “The truck world’s about to feel a seismic shift. Hold tight. 01-01-26.” No vehicle is shown. No badge appears. Just motion, sound, and a very deliberate choice of words.

Taken on its own, the teaser doesn’t give much away. Taken alongside Ram’s recent actions, however, it paints a much clearer picture.

Over the past year, Ram has been quietly but decisively steering the brand back toward its roots. Value-focused trims like the Ram 1500 Express and Black Express have returned, giving buyers straightforward, no-nonsense options again. Performance fans were equally pleased to see the Warlock lineup expand with both Pentastar and HEMI-powered variants, capped off by the return of the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 to the Ram 1500. Heavy Duty buyers weren’t ignored either, with Black Express and Warlock trims now part of the Ram 2500 lineup.

At the same time, Stellantis leadership has been fueling the rumor mill. Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa has openly hinted that two new SRT-branded products are on the way, reinforcing the idea that performance is once again a priority across the portfolio. That context makes the sound and messaging of Ram’s new teaser feel far from accidental.

Then there’s motorsports. Ram’s return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series isn’t just a marketing exercise. It’s a signal that the brand wants to be seen as tough, capable, and authentic—values that resonate deeply with truck buyers. Racing has always been part of Ram’s DNA, and bringing it back into the spotlight adds credibility to everything else the brand is doing.

What exactly is coming on January 1 remains unknown. Ram isn’t confirming whether this is a new model, a new powertrain, or something entirely unexpected.
