Ram Joins Forces with ‘Twisters’ for Epic Summer Adventure

Ram and Universal Pictures have once again joined forces, this time for the highly anticipated summer action movie Twisters, which will hit theaters on July 19. The new Ram advertising campaign, “Answer Your Calling,” celebrates the return of this adrenaline-pumping thrill ride, offering audiences a visceral experience inside one of nature’s most awe-inspiring and destructive forces.
“Twisters” follows Kate Cooper, who is haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado and lured back to the open plains by her friend, Javi, to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. She soon crosses paths with Tyler Owens, a charming but reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures. As storm season intensifies, Kate, Tyler, and their competing teams fight for their lives as multiple systems converge over central Oklahoma.
Glen Powell, starring as Tyler Owens, also connects his role to the Ram brand on-screen, seen navigating both an older Ram 3500 and a newer Ram 1500 TRX.
The global “Answer Your Calling” campaign will span North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. In the U.S., the campaign includes a dynamic 30-second video, “Answer Your Calling,” airing on various platforms, including broadcast, the Ram brand’s official YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Olivier Francois, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Stellantis, remarked, “When ‘Twister’ first debuted in 1996, our hero drove a Ram 2500 truck. Naturally, when we learned about Universal’s ‘Twisters,’ it was clear a Ram truck would again take center stage as the film’s heroic vehicle.” Francois added, “Glen Powell’s own ownership of a Ram truck adds authenticity to what promises to be one of this summer’s biggest blockbusters.”

“Answer Your Calling” marks the latest chapter in Ram Truck’s advertising evolution, showcasing powerful Ram trucks as essential allies in the film’s high-stakes pursuits and escapes from Mother Nature’s fury.
The campaign prominently features the all-new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO and highlights the full spectrum of off-road models, including the Power Wagon, Rebel, and Warlock.
In a partnership with Universal Pictures and the American Red Cross, the Ram Truck brand supports the theatrical release of “Twisters,” aiming to mitigate a summer blood shortage and aid disaster relief efforts. Throughout July, blood and platelet donors will receive a Fandango movie ticket by email, and those donating between July 1 to 14 can also receive a limited-edition “Twisters” and Red Cross umbrella while supplies last.
