SPOTTED: 2025 Ram 1500 RHO Crew Cab 4×4

While the HEMI® might be absent from the 2025 Ram 1500 lineup, there is still considerable excitement for the new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. One of these new RHO models was recently spotted cruising down Woodward Avenue, captured by our contributor Dominic Caramagno. The RHO is poised to set a new standard in the light-duty off-road truck segment, offering impressive performance and value.

Power and Performance –

The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is equipped with the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter HURRICANE I-6 high-output (H/O) engine. This high-output engine delivers a remarkable 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft. of torque. This performance comes with enhanced fuel economy and reduced emissions compared to other engines in its class. This combination ensures the RHO outperforms many naturally aspirated V-8 and boosted six-cylinder engines found in other light-duty trucks.

Advanced Suspension and Handling –

The RHO features Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks, fine-tuned to balance on-road handling and off-road capability. The new shock tuning, combined with Ram’s Active Terrain Dynamics suspension management system, significantly enhances ride comfort, body roll control, and overall handling.

A standout feature of the RHO is its impressive wheel travel. The truck’s unique frame design allows for rear axle travel of up to 14 inches, offering more than 40% additional rear wheel travel compared to other Ram 1500 models. This increased wheel travel does not compromise the cargo area, making the RHO both versatile and practical.

Off-Road Capabilities –

The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is designed to handle tough terrains with ease. It boasts a ground clearance of 11.8 inches, thanks to a 2-inch ride height increase and 35-inch tires. This setup enables the RHO to navigate over obstacles effortlessly, even at high speeds.

Interior and Technology –

Inside, the RHO combines luxury with cutting-edge technology. The interior features premium materials, including available hand-wrapped leather instrument panels. The truck is equipped with over 50 inches of digital display screens, offering a range of functionalities. The centerpiece is a reconfigurable 14.5-inch touchscreen display with split-screen capability. Additionally, there is a class-exclusive 10.25-inch front passenger screen that allows for navigation, device management, and entertainment options.

An optional full-color Head-Up Display (HUD) is also available, offering a configurable display of up to 10 inches. This feature includes a digital tachometer and multiple content areas for enhanced driving convenience.

Pricing and Availability –

The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is available for order now, with a starting price of $69,995 (excluding a $1,995 destination charge). It is expected to arrive at dealerships in the third quarter of 2024.
