It may be the weekend, but it isn’t stopping the Ram brand from dropping teasers of its upcoming performance off-roader – the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX. The Hellcat-powered off-roader will make its official debut on Monday, so Ram is keeping its fan base coming back for more.
In the recent teaser called “It Does”, Ram goes to say the new 700+ horsepower pickup does “0 to 60 in…” before being cut off by the grunt of the exhaust from the TRX. About three seconds into the teaser, we get a camera angle zooming into the dust cloud kicked up from the TRX, and then just for a split second, we get a slight glimpse of Ram’s new performance offering. The exterior seems to match up with the spy shots we posted earlier from an anonymous source.
The pictures showed us the specific looks that the Ram 1500 TRX will feature like a widebody kit, a unique grille, performance hood, and flared bedside. Inside, the TRX will get huge paddle shifters, a center column-mounted shifter, performance seats, and additional technology features that will join the other models of 2021 Ram 1500 lineup.
The TRX features a Rebel-like grille, however, we do get to see that the TRX will share the headlights from the upscale Limited Black pickup. We can also catch a glimpse of the wider front fenders as well.
The unveiling is scheduled for Monday, August 17th at 12:00 p.m. EST on RamTrucks.com and the Ram Trucks Facebook page. MoparInsiders.com will also be streaming the event live as well and will be releasing all the details of the new 2021 Ram 1500 TRX throughout the day.
