Ram Brazil Unveils Special Edition Rampage Rebel Ignition
Celebrating Brand Milestones with Exclusive Design and Advanced Features...
Ram Brazil is celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Ram brand, the 10th anniversary of the Rebel trim, and the success of the compact Rampage with a new special edition model. The Ram Rampage Rebel Ignition model is inspired by the Ram 1500 TRX Ignition Edition, which made its debut in 2022. Ram had teased the color earlier this year on a Moparized version of the Rampage Rebel on the auto show circuit in Brazil.
The Ram Rampage Rebel Ignition Edition arrives in the exclusive Ignition Orange color, with a Matte Black painted roof, Matte Black hood decals, and Gloss Black door handles, mirrors, and wheels. The bed of the Rampage features unique Rebel Ignition graphics as well. In addition to the graphics, Ram has fitted the Rebel Ignition with a Mopar tonneau cover and off-road Rambar.
The exterior isn’t the only thing that gets a unique look. Inside, the Rampage Rebel Ignition gets special Black leather and suede seats with Ignition Orange stitching. This pattern is present on the door panels and the instrument panel (I/P) as well. The Rebel badge is embroidered on the back of the front seats, and a set of Black Mopar rubber mats with raised edges helps to keep the interior clean.
The Rampage Rebel Ignition also comes standard with a number of features that would be optional on other versions. This includes a 9-speaker Harman Kardon® premium sound system with a 6-inch subwoofer, a 12-way power passenger seat, and LED ambient lights that run through the I/P and front doors, making the truck’s interior even more luxurious.
The truck also comes with a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen featuring wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay for two smartphones, navigation, a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, Keyless Enter ‘N Go, remote start, a Ramcharger induction phone charger, 6 USB ports (3 Type-A, 3 Type-C), and full LED front and rear lighting.
Regarding safety, there are seven airbags and several driver-assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning, among others. Another technology present is Ram Connect, Ram’s connected services platform that allows you to perform remote operations and trigger help in case of accidents, in addition to alerting the owner about possible vehicle theft, which can trigger the recovery service through the app.
Under the hood, the Rampage Rebel Ignition features the popular turbocharged 2.0-liter Hurricane4 inline-four-cylinder engine that is found in the Jeep® Wrangler, Dodge Hornet GT, and Jeep Compass. For Rampage duty, it has been tuned to produce 272 horsepower and 400 Nm (295 lb.-ft.) of torque. It is mated to a smooth-shifting ZF-sourced 9-speed automatic transmission, coupled with the same 4×4 system found on the Jeep Compass as standard equipment.
The Rampage, which went on sale just over a year ago, has become one of the best-selling trucks in Brazil, with over 20,000 units sold and accumulating 12 awards. Pricing for the Rampage Rebel Ignition is set at R$ 286,990 (or about $51,400 USD).
