Mopar Teases Its Second Concept For The 2025 SEMA Show

This Time, Its A Bright Green Ram 1500

Mopar is once again gearing up to make waves at the 2025 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Earlier today, the brand dropped its second teaser sketch for this year’s event, and this time it’s all about the Ram brand. Following the first teaser—a wild Purple Dodge Charger SIXPACK concept—Mopar is now teasing what looks like a lowered, high-performance Ram 1500 concept truck painted in an eye-popping Sublime Green finish.

The SEMA Show runs from November 4th through November 7th, and as always, Mopar is bringing a combination of heritage, attitude, and performance to the convention floor. This new Ram 1500 concept looks like it’s ready to hit the streets, with styling cues that scream muscle truck more than workhorse.

A Bold Look in Sublime-Like Green –

At first glance, the concept’s color commands attention. The bright, high-impact paint resembles the legendary Sublime hue that has graced Mopar performance cars for decades. But this isn’t just about color—the overall stance and proportions tell a story of performance and personality. The hood is one of the first standout features, sporting a center-mounted scoop that immediately hints at power under the surface.

Unlike production models, this hood design looks smoother and cleaner, free from the side badges and trim that typically adorn Ram trucks. It’s a move that feels deliberate—more street machine than showroom stock.

Big Horn or Laramie? –

Looking closer, the front fascia seems to wear a mesh-style grille rather than the smoother horizontal bars seen on Laramie models. That design cue hints that the concept may be based on the Ram 1500 Big Horn Night Edition, which aligns with the truck’s sportier, blacked-out appearance.

Interestingly, the front bumper appears to be a one-piece design—something we haven’t seen before on a production Ram 1500 Big Horn. This suggests Mopar has made significant customizations to the front end, perhaps previewing future accessory offerings or even a fresh look for upcoming Ram trims.

Dropped and Ready to Roll –

The lowered stance of this truck is impossible to ignore. The wheel wells are tightly filled, suggesting an aggressive suspension drop. It brings back memories of the 2019 Ram 1500 Low Down Concept, which Mopar built as a showcase of street-focused customization. That truck featured a lowered ride height, a custom hood, and an understated Black and Silver paint job.

This new concept, however, looks far bolder. It mixes that same low-slung presence with the vivid personality of a muscle car. The Black graphics along the side accentuate its lines, with stripes running just beneath the body’s midline and stretching rearward from the large R-A-M lettering on the doors. Additional Black hood graphics frame the scoop, giving the front end an aggressive, ready-to-run vibe.

A Mysterious Cowboy Touch –

Actor Don Knotts featured in a 1970 Dodge “Dude” Ad. (Dodge).

There’s one detail in the sketch that’s got enthusiasts scratching their heads—a cowboy hat hanging off the side mirror. Whether it’s just a fun Easter egg or a deeper nod to Ram’s heritage, it certainly feels intentional. In fact, it has us speculating that this truck could be a modern-day tribute to the Dodge “Dude” package, which was offered on the Sweptline pickups from 1970 to 1971.

HEMI Power with a Twist? –

Direct Connection Gen6 3.0-liter Whipple Twin-Screw Supercharger for the HEMI®. (MoparInsiders).

On the front fender, a “Symbol of Protest” badge is clearly visible—a subtle yet unmistakable nod to the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine with eTorque. That alone suggests this concept is built to move more than air. However, Mopar may have a surprise in store.

Earlier this year, Mopar’s Direct Connection division quietly previewed a new Gen6 3.0-liter twin-screw Whipple supercharger setup designed for the 2026 5.7-liter HEMI platform. It was spotted at Roadkill Nights, the Woodward Dream Cruise, and most recently under the hood of the Fox Factory™ Ram 1500 Lowered DC650 sport truck. If there’s ever a place to debut it officially, SEMA would be the perfect stage. Don’t be surprised if this Green machine shows up with that supercharger bolted on.

The Bottom Line –

Mopar’s second 2025 SEMA teaser confirms what we’ve come to expect: bold color, performance cues, and a deep connection to the brand’s muscle roots. While we still don’t have the full story, the lowered stance, aggressive styling, and potential for a supercharged HEMI make this Ram 1500 concept one to watch.

When the SEMA Show kicks off in early November, all eyes will be on Mopar’s display to see how far they’ve pushed the envelope this year.

Any OFFICAL date on when these ICE Chargers will start showing up in dealer showrooms and dealer lots? Just seems it is being stretched out. It is almost mid-October. Was hoping to see them in September.

The Charger is elegant and sleek, but too large and heavy to project a muscle impression. Not to say there are those out there who do see an exciting family vehicle, especially in four doors than can be very successful in the large performance car segment, but with some after market changes. Mopar must offer some “aggressiveness” touches for the Charger Six Pack including graphics, hoods with far more aggressive hood scopes and heat extractors, ground effects and yes computer stage tune upgrades for the Hurricane. I’ll leave that to Mopar, but the palette is wide open for these changes. Charger can go from elegant to mean with some new Mopar Performance magic. Call it “witchcraft”.
Of course for Dodge, the need for a shorter, lighter Challenger V-8 powered real muscle car that is not family oriented but geared head focused is the product that will take Dodge back to its muscle car credentials.
Let’s hope this is only the first injection of mean for Charger, it needs that badly.

It's no secret that the Charger definitely needs love from SRT and Direct Connection. I still stand firmly on my love for this generation of the Charger and the way it separates itself from being a pony car or a sports car with its size, weight and mission. By now, we all realize that a V8 is coming to the lineup soon and that more than likely it will be a supercharged 5.7L Hemi V8 making around the same 650hp it makes in the truck, potentially taking over the Daytona nameplate from the EV Variant, positioning itself as the most powerful Non-SRT Charger ever produced and still being CARB friendly. The writing is already on the wall. But before we go too far down that rabbit-hole, let's speculate what this "Moparized" Charger could bring to the table.

1.) Styling and accessories: As it stands, the Charger is a big beautiful car that has alot of the right curves and angles, proudly putting it's muscle car heritage on display. However, the car is truly lacking in alot of ways. Mopar Muscle cars have always had cool hoods, scalloped doors, sculpted sides, big spoilers (Gull Wings, Go Wings, THE DAYTONA WING! and even the regular two-post spoilers), Graphics, cool wheels and all kinds of need little quirks that made them awesome. That needs to continue with this car we have right now. This car needs spoiler options, hood options, ground effects, graphics, light upgrades (headlights and taillamps) wheel options, etc. Brake caliper color options need to be addressed as well. Inside the car definitely needs different color options besides just black and red. It needs that Laguna Sephia option, it needs houndstooth options in black and orange, or black and tan or even black and a dark coffee brown. The car needs the LED airbag horn cover with options of the Fratzog logo, R/T, Scat Pack & Daytona LED emblems in the center that lights up with the same options as the rest of the interior mood lighting. The car could use some cool Direct Connection shifter options and that Alpine subwoofer system that was at Roadkill nights next to the supercharged Ram 1500 truck.

2.) Power: A 420hp Charger R/T and a 550hp Charger Scat Pack aren't anything to sneeze at. Doesn't mean that more power isn't needed. Direct Connection kits that offer tunes, the new-gen K&N intake, smoother, larger intercooler piping and intercoolers, blow off valves, injectors, fuel pump upgrades, better catted down pipes, Direct Connection by Magnaflow exhaust systems (in different sound levels) and things like that would be pretty nice along with suspension packages and parts, Brake packages, and other things that would draw customers in to Direct Connection and SRT upgrades.

Think we are on the same page. Maybe the artistic talent at MI could give us some computer generated renditions of Chargers to gage reactions. Hopefully this Mopar/DC Charger concept will be more than superficial and start the ball rolling on some things folks can add to make a statement. I’d love to see Chrysler spin off a 300 from the Charger sedan that takes its natural elegance to a higher level for those who want to go in that direction of luxury. Time to get serious.
