The United States witnessed a quality revolution from Alfa Romeo, with the brand claiming the top spot among premium brands and an impressive third position in the industry, according to the JD Power 2023 U.S. Initial Quality Study. The study, conducted 90 days after purchase, showcased Alfa Romeo’s commitment to delivering exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.

Jean-Philippe Imparato, Alfa Romeo CEO, expressed pride in the growth figures, attributing the success to a clear and stable strategy. He highlighted the brand’s focus on quality, discipline, and speed in implementing the long-term plan unveiled in 2021, which involves introducing a new model every year.

Imparato emphasized, “The growth figures are perfectly in line with the goals we had set ourselves for 2023. Being the fastest-growing premium brand among the best global competitors can only make us proud. For us, it is the result of a clear and stable strategy. This confirms the fact we are rapidly implementing the long-term plan we devised and announced in 2021: one new product every year, with a very major focus on quality. Discipline and speed in the implementation of our strategy are key to a reactive response to a rapidly changing market.”

The year 2023 saw Alfa Romeo climbing to the top of the premium segment globally, surpassing its competitors in the top 15 premium brands (excluding the 100% BEV segment). The brand’s commitment to profitability, high-quality standards, and adherence to the 2021 product plan were hailed as the driving force behind this remarkable achievement.
