Mopar Holds Q&A With Graveyard Carz Team At SEMA:

Team Brings A Hellephant-Powered Plymouth To SEMA...

In case you missed it, Mopar held another press conference this afternoon with none other than Mopar fanatic as well as reality TV and owner of Graveyard Carz, Mark Worman. It gave a chance for the 2019 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show attendees as well as social media to ask the “Mopar Guru” some questions. The Graveyard Carz team or “ghouls” as Worman calls them, were also there to show off their latest project at the SEMA show.

Graveyard Carz’ 1958 Hellephant-powered Plymouth Fury “Christine” Tribute. (SRTJovita).

You might remember from last year’s SEMA show, Worman was given a 426 cubic-inch Hellephant crate motor as a gift for being a great Mopar ambassador. So what did Mark and his team of ghouls do for this year’s SEMA show? How about building a custom Hellephant-powered 1958 Plymouth Fury? The Fury started out as a Belvidere and turned into a clone of the iconic “Christine” movie car. Yes, a clone of the processed Plymouth Fury that has 1,000 horsepower and 950 lb.-ft. of torque.

You can catch Graveyard Carz on Motor Trend TV on demand. Thanks to our contributor SRTJovita, for providing the pictures from the SEMA floor.
