Meet The Ram 1500 TRX Warlord 6×6 From Apocalypse Manufacturing:

702 Horsepower, 6x6, All-American Off-Road Pickup...

The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX performance off-roader is the apex predator of the truck world and one of the most popular vehicles to debut this model year. The Ram TRX set new benchmarks for power and performance among half-ton 4×4 pickup trucks with its 702 horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter HELLCAT HEMI® V8 engine and 13-inches of suspension travel. But to some, that isn’t enough to keep them satisfied.

If you are one of those few, then Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Apocalypse Manufacturing might just have something that will. Meet the Ram 1500 TRX Warlord 6×6.

Known for their 6×6 builds involving the Jeep® Wrangler and Gladiator, Apocalypse Manufacturing has now taken the Ram 1500 TRX to the next level. While the company has yet to release detailed specifications about the Warlord package, the TRX-based Warlord is the first time the company has done anything outside of Jeeps. According to the DuPont Registry, Apocalypse Manufacturing builds around 80 6×6 vehicles a year.

Apocalypse designed a hand-crafted middle axle assembly and custom frame using 1/4-inch thick steel to help support the two additional wheels.

“I am really proud of how our highly-skilled team took on our most ambitious project yet,” said Joseph Ghattas, owner, engineer, and head designer of Apocalypse Manufacturing. “Our development and research really show on the handcrafted middle axle and custom frame we created by using bigger, beefier 1/4-inch thick steel needed to complement the insane horsepower output that separates the TRX from every other vehicle on the road today. This build is as impressive as they come and perfectly aligns with the rest of our Apocalypse catalog of trucks.”

The Warlord appears to keep most of the Ram 1500 TRX’s stock looks. The Apocalypse team did an excellent job keep the stock looking as clean and factory looking as possible. This includes the extended length of the bed. The only noticeable changes are the R-A-M text has been rearranged on the tailgate to W-A-R, there is an aftermarket roll bar, and the factory Goodyear Wrangler Territory All-Terrain 35-inch tires have been swapped out with Nitto Mud Grappler Extreme Terrain Mud-Terrain 37-inch tires.

It appears that the Warlord retains the TRX’s stock 2.6-inch Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks as well.

Apocalypse Manufacturing says that it will offer the Ram 1500 TRX Warlord 6×6 at a starting price of $250,000 USD. While that may sound like a lot, it is about half of what Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) is asking for its yet-to-be-shown Mammoth 6×6 Ram TRX.
