Meet The Jeep® Wrangler Night Eagle For The Middle East:
There Version Of The Sahara Altitude...
Special edition models are coming for Jeep® vehicles, especially on nameplates as iconic as Wrangler. Now, while a lot of us here in North America get a wide array of special edition models spread out throughout the year, one special edition nameplate you will not see in North America is the Jeep® Wrangler Night Eagle.
Back in September, the Jeep® brand launched the Wrangler Night Eagle in select markets including the Middle East. The Night Eagle package was available before on the previous generation Wrangler (JK) in the select global markets, but this year is the first time the nameplate has been featured on the (JL) models. So what is the Night Eagle package? The Night Eagle joins the range of “Dark Appearance Packages” available on a number of Jeep models and is virtually identical to the North American Wrangler Sahara Altitude package.
The Night Eagle is based on the Wrangler Unlimited Sahara trim-level and features Gloss Black grille intakes, as well as headlight, and fog light bezels. All of the exterior badging is featured in the Gloss Black look as well, while a set of 18-inch Gloss Black 5-spoke aluminum wheels, further enhance the Night Eagle’s aggressive urban stance. The limited-edition Night Eagle can be equipped with the Power Soft Touch (SkyOne Touch) roof, while a body-color hardtop is standard. An optional Hard Spare Tire Cover is also available, which is exclusive to the Night Eagle model.
Inside the Night Eagle, the dark theme continues with black upholstery and Wizard Black accents on the steering wheel, instrument panel, door appliques, speakers, and gear shifter surround. Black leather seats with black accent stitching also give the Night Eagle a luxurious while continuing the darkened theme. Of course, the 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen with navigation featuring Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto is also standard.
Other standard equipment includes the Alpine Premium Audio system with an all-weather subwoofer, Passive Keyless Entry, and LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, LED fog lamps, and LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs).
While the North American Wrangler Unlimited Sahara Altitude offers four powertrain choices, the Wrangler Unlimited Night Eagle only offers one – the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. There is also only one available transmission choice as well, with the ZF-source 8-speed automatic being standard equipment. The Night Eagle is available in a choice of six exterior colors, including Black, Bright White, Billet Silver Metallic, Firecracker Red, Granite Chrystal Metallic and Sting-Gray, all matched with a body-color three-piece hardtop.
