Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has made additional management changes due to the recent retirement of former Head of Passenger Car Brands, Dodge//SRT, Chrysler and FIAT – FCA North America, Steve Beahm. The decision should make Mopar fans very happy.
After having the Head of Passenger Car Brands, Dodge//SRT, Chrysler and FIAT – FCA North America title and moving to Global Head of Alfa Romeo in February 2018, Tim Kuniskis returns to lead the Chrysler, Dodge, and FIAT brands for North America. Yes, FCA has returned Kuniskis to lead the passenger car brands for North America and continuing to put a “car guy” in charge of its Dodge performance brand for the past decade.
Kuniskis will continue to hold the title of Global Head of Alfa Romeo. Recently given the title of Head of Jeep® Brand, FCA – North America, Kuniskis will hand that title over to Head of Ram brand, FCA – North America, Jim Morrison.
Morrison, who has been with the company since 1995, returns to the Jeep brand in which he was the Director – Jeep Brand Product Marketing and Global Coordination. In his new title, Morrison will have has responsibility for sales and marketing strategic operations for the Company’s Jeep brand in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
This is a huge win for Mopar fans, as it puts leadership familiar with the brands back in charge and helps continue FCA’s future plans laid out in last year’s Capital Markets Day presentation. Kuniskis who lead the Dodge brand with vehicles like the Charger and Challenger SRT HELLCAT models and the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon help cement the future of performance with the brand. Jim Morrison will also have a lot going on with continuing the success of the Jeep brand, especially with the all-new 2021 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer on the way.
