Jeep® Will Hold “4xe Day” Event On Thursday, September 8th!
We Should Learn Some Important Details About The Future Of Electric Jeeps...
Jeep® has made no secret about its intentions to bring electrification across all of its models. The brand will be holding a “4xe Day” event on Thursday, September 8th, 2022, at 8 a.m. EDT / 2 p.m. CET. The event should introduce several of the automaker’s intentions to bring plug-in hybrid (PHEV), hybrid-electric vehcile (HEV), and battery-electric vehicle (BEV) options to market.
We expect some interesting information to be dropped during the event, like the introduction of its updated 2023 Jeep Renegade 4xe to the world and the possible official announcement that the Renegade and Compass 4xe models will be arriving in North America in 2024. Our sources have already stated that we can expect a Jeep Gladiator 4xe to arrive sometime in 2024 as a 2025 model.
While Jeep calls the event “4xe Day”, we also expect the American adventure brand to state some facts on the new global Jeep “Junior” or “Jeepster” (JJ) B-SUV, as well as electrified options for the Wagoneer lineup. This includes the recent electrified Wagoneer model, based of the upcoming next-generation Cherokee (KM).
There is also talk about a new all-electric off-road-oriented Jeep SUV that will be based on the new STLA Large architecture. According to rumors, the new Jeep was teased during the Stellantis’ EV Day 2021 presentation and will be the first off-road-oriented electric Jeep product for the brand.
We will be broadcasting the event life, so be sure to come back and join in on the conversation next Thursday.
