Jeep® To Introduce Gladiator Big Bear Model For Californians
Newest Regional Limited Edition Will Be Launched Soon...
According to our sources, Jeep® is planning to release a new regional limited edition for the 2025 model year. The Gladiator Big Bear will be exclusively available in the Golden State. This model is a tribute to Big Bear, California, known for its challenging trails, including Gold Mountain, Holcomb Creek, and John Bull—all Jeep® Badge of Honor trails.
This regional model builds on the success of other location-specific Gladiator trims, such as the Gladiator California Edition and Texas Trail editions. Designed for adventure, the Big Bear trim takes the capable Sport S model and adds an array of premium features tailored for outdoor enthusiasts.
Under the Hood –
At its heart, the Big Bear is powered by Jeep’s trusted 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine. This engine delivers 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with Engine Start/Stop (ESS) technology. The setup ensures ample power and efficiency, whether navigating city streets or California’s rugged backcountry.
Off-Road Capability –
The 2025 Gladiator Big Bear is based on the Gladiator Sport S trim but comes with a California twist. It boasts 17-inch black-painted aluminum wheels wrapped in beefy 32-inch mud-terrain tires, ready to tackle whatever terrain you throw its way. Plus, with the Jeep® Command-Trac 4×4 part-time, two-speed transfer case, and a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio, this truck is built for serious off-roading.
Premium Features for the Trail and Beyond –
The Big Bear trim isn’t just about capability; it’s loaded with comfort and technology upgrades to suit both urban and off-road settings. Standard equipment includes:
- Body-Color 3-Piece Hard Top for a polished exterior look.
- Corning Gorilla Glass windshield for improved durability.
- Advanced Brake Assist and Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus for added safety.
- Premium McKinley-Trimmed Seats and Leather-Wrapped Touchpoints for a luxurious feel.
- Big Bear Decals on the hood and tailgate, distinguishing this model as a unique edition.
Additional upgrades, such as a Freedom Panel Storage Bag, Deep-Tint Sunscreen Windows, and a Rear Sliding Window, enhance practicality and comfort.
Pricing and Options –
The Gladiator Big Bear starts at $45,695, including a $38,100 base price, the $5,700 Big Bear package, and a $1,895 destination charge. Buyers can further customize their vehicle with an array of optional features like:
- MOPAR Sunrider for Hardtop: $945
