Jeep® Goes Full Dino Mode in Jurassic World: Rebirth Campaign

New Marketing Blitz features Wranglers, Raptors, and a Jurassic Badge

Jeep® is diving back into dinosaur territory with its biggest Jurassic team-up yet. In partnership with Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, the brand has just launched a bold new marketing campaign for the upcoming blockbuster Jurassic World: Rebirth, set to hit theaters on July 2, 2025. If you thought previous collabs were wild, this one dials the adventure to eleven—complete with stampeding dinos, a special “Jurassic Trail Rated” Wrangler, and even a hidden glimpse of a future Jeep 4×4 (the Recon).

This summer’s campaign is one of Jeep’s most ambitious yet, with a full 360-degree rollout. A long-form video is dropping on Jeep’s social channels later this week—Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more. A 30-second version is airing on TV, and the brand’s out-of-home effort includes a massive Times Square billboard where a flying Quetzalcoatlus soars above a Wrangler. That’s right—Jeep is taking the dino showdown to the skies.

Filmed with movie-quality visual effects by the same wizards at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) who animate the dinosaurs in the actual film, the commercial follows a Jeep Wrangler navigating an epic off-road challenge against seven different dinosaurs. We’re talking Velociraptor, T-Rex, Spinosaurus, Compsognathus, Titanosaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, and even a baby Aquilops. It’s the most dino-packed Jeep spot to date.

The ad was directed by Jeff Tomsic and produced by Community Films, with creative direction by Highdive, Jeep’s go-to ad agency. And like Jeep’s unforgettable 2018 Super Bowl spot for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, this campaign taps into nostalgia while showcasing modern capability.

On top of all that, Jeep’s going all-in at the dealership level. Over 2,000 U.S. dealers will roll out a Jurassic-themed point-of-sale kit, complete with posters, dino egg mirror hangers, claw marks, and footprint decals. Plus, a limited-edition Jurassic badge—designed by Jeep’s in-house team—will debut in Tier 2 ads and will soon be available to consumers.

The global press tour already roared to life in Mexico City at CCXP, where a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4xe made an appearance on stage. The Wrangler will also be featured front and center at the U.S. red carpet premiere in New York City on June 23.

Stellantis Global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Olivier Francois put it best: “We added a sixth Trail Rated criteria to the Wrangler—Jurassic Trail Rated.” And Jeep® CEO Bob Broderdorf drove it home, saying, “When dinosaurs are on the loose and adventure calls, nothing handles ferocious frontiers quite like a Jeep 4×4.”

Whether you’re heading into the wild—or just your local theater—this collab proves once again: Jeep and Jurassic are a match made in cinematic off-road heaven.
