CAUGHT: The 2020 Jeep® Gladiator Overland On The Streets:

Jeep's New Truck Looks Good Out On Public Roads...

Our friends at Real Fast Fotography, have caught our first look at a naked 2020 Jeep Gladiator Overland prototype testing on Metro Detroit public roads. With the unveiling earlier this week at the L.A. Auto Show, Jeep no longer has anything to hide about the highly anticipated Jeep truck.

Just like the Wrangler Sahara, Gladiator Overland will feature two-piece body-color fender flares with a black lower insert give a raised profile. Halogen headlamps are standard, however available LED headlamps and fog lamps that project crisp white lighting, add to the truck’s modern look. Gladiator models equipped with LEDs feature daytime running lights, which form a halo around the outside perimeter of the headlights. Forward turn signals are positioned on the front of the trapezoidal wheel flares.

This particular prototype uses the standard halogen headlamps and tail lamps. Even though it make look like your average Jeep Wrangler (JL) up front, from the rear the Gladiator looks like nothing else on the road. While this prototype is missing its fender badging, it sure has no problem on the rear telling you its a Jeep (like if that wasn’t convincing enough).

This hardtop model looks good in black. However, with the side badges missing, the anodized grille surround accents and fog light accents look out of place on this all-black truck. Gladiator Overland features an available three-piece body-color hardtop option, offering a unique, premium appearance, while a black three-piece hardtop, provides even more opportunities for open-air driving. The two Freedom panels and quick-release latches enable a fast removal and installation of the hardtop. All hardtops feature a manual rear-sliding window.
