Fiat has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated all-new Fiat 600e will be unveiled on July 4th.
Built on the advanced Stellantis Common Modular Platform (CMP) architecture, the Fiat 600e will be manufactured alongside the Jeep® Avenger and an all-new Alfa Romeo B-SUV in Tychy, Poland. Leveraging the collaborative efforts within the Stellantis family, the Fiat 600e inherits the sleek and modern design elements of the 500e, offering a four-door B-segment vehicle with a sustainable and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The Fiat 600e showcases the collective dedication of Stellantis brands toward developing cutting-edge electric vehicles that meet the demands of the evolving automotive landscape. By utilizing the technological advancements and expertise of the Jeep brand, Fiat has created a vehicle that combines style, sustainability, and efficiency.
Powering the new Fiat 600e is an electric powertrain derived from the Jeep Avenger, delivering an anticipated power output of 156 horsepower. This electric variant is expected to offer a range of approximately 400 kilometers (249 miles) on a full charge, providing a reliable and efficient driving experience. It is also speculated that the engine lineup may include a 100 horsepower 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo gasoline engine, with the possibility of other surprises in store.
While specific pricing details have not been disclosed, it is projected that the Fiat 600 will be priced slightly lower compared to the Jeep Avenger. The entry-level version of the Fiat 600 is expected to start at just over €20,000 (approximately $21,730 USD).
Production of the Fiat 600 is scheduled to commence by the end of this year, with orders set to open in the fall. However, whether the car will be available in the North American market remains uncertain.
