The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the greatest internal combustion engine (ICE) muscle cars ever built. With only 3,312 examples ever produced, the 808 horsepower (840 horsepower on 100+ octane racing fuel) is a monster on the street and the track. With that being said, one particular one is up for auction this weekend on BringATrailer.com, and it is going to a special cause.
With only 16 miles on the odometer, this car was donated to the Michigan Humane, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, to improve and save lives through compassionate care, community engagement, and advocacy for animals. The car is now offered at no reserve with an accident-free Carfax report and a clean Michigan title, with the total sale amount, including the BringATrailer.com buyer’s fee to Michigan Humane.
Everyone knows about the SRT Demon’s supercharged 6.2-liter (376 cubic-inch) HEMI Demon V8 and its 840 horsepower and 770 lb.-ft. of torque on 100+ octane racing fuel, making it the most powerful muscle car ever and the world’s fastest 1/4-mile ICE production car ever.
The only downside of the auction is that the car does not come with the original Demon crates. This means the car is factory rated at 808 horsepower and 707 lb.-ft. of torque. However, Direct Connection, does have answers to help whoever buys it get the best performance from the Demon motor.

Originally rolling off the assembly line in White Knuckle paint, this car has been refinished to a custom Dark Green color. We are told that the former owner painted the car to match the rest of his car collection.

The car had an original Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $94,057 (that includes destination and gas guzzlers tax) when it left the dealer. It also wears #1,062 of the 3,312 built.
The car also has been signed by Ralph Gilles, Head of Design for Stellantis, and Timothy Kuniskis, CEO of Dodge, along with other team members.
The auction closed on Monday, September 5th at 1:05 p.m. EST with a winning bid of $140,500!
