Alfa’s Seductive 4C Spider Returns For 2020:

The mid-engined Alfa Romeo 4C Spider returns for the 2020 model year. The lightweight seductive Italian sports car was the car that kicked off the return of the 110-year-old brand to the United States. Using a Formula 1-inspired carbon fiber monocoque chassis that enables an incredible 10.4 power-to-weight ratio, the less than 2,500 pounds sports car still lays down some impressive numbers.

The all-aluminum 1750 cc turbocharged engine with direct-injection, dual intercoolers, and variable-valve timing doesn’t offer HELLCAT-like numbers. However, the small four-cylinder-engine produces 237 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft of torque and with a 10.4 power-to-weight ratio, the 4C Spider has a 0-60 mph time of 4.1-seconds and a top speed of 160 mph.

While most of the options list remains the same for the Italian two-seater, there is a new limited edition package for 2020. The 2020 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Italia is a very limited edition, with only 15 of the cars being built for North America, talk about being rare.
