Fiat is closing out 2025 the same way it has every year since 2021 — as Brazil’s best-selling automaker. With more than 435,000 vehicles registered between January and October, the brand isn’t just holding the lead… it’s running away with it. Fiat sits at 21.1% market share, outpacing the second-place brand by more than 85,000 units, and the momentum doesn’t look like it’s slowing anytime soon.

What really stands out is how consistently Fiat connects with Brazilian buyers. Out of the top 10 best-selling vehicles in Brazil this year, three of them wear the Fiat badge. The Strada, a compact pickup that has become a cultural icon at this point, continues its incredible run as the best-selling vehicle in Brazil for the fifth straight year, racking up over 115,000 sales. The Argo isn’t far behind with nearly 84,000 units moved, while the Mobi — Fiat’s no-nonsense, budget-friendly urban runabout — holds strong in eighth place with more than 59,000 registrations.
October alone was a blockbuster month. Fiat moved 50,651 units, putting an 8,600-unit gap between itself and its next competitor. The Strada even posted its best monthly performance of 2025, hitting 14,040 registrations and grabbing 5.6% market share by itself.

According to Frederico Battaglia, Vice President for Fiat and Abarth in South America, this streak is no accident.
“Once again, Fiat confirms its market leadership. Achieving five consecutive years at the top is the direct result of the trust consumers place in our vehicles. Models like the Strada, Mobi, and Fastback clearly demonstrate the qualities that set us apart from other competitors: durability, modern design, accessible technology, and efficiency. Every milestone reinforces our commitment to offering products that combine quality, innovation, and versatility — always aligned with the needs of the Brazilian people,” Battaglia said.

Fiat’s product strategy — low running costs, modern tech where it counts, and vehicles built for Brazilian roads — continues to pay off. In a market that sees constant competition from both established brands and new players, Fiat’s ability to deliver exactly what customers want keeps it in a league of its own.
With two months still left in the year, the brand has already cemented its place at the top of the charts. And if 2026 follows the pattern, Fiat doesn’t just look strong… it looks unbeatable.
