Jeep® Mexico Releases New Renegade Polar Bronze Edition:

Since its arrival in the Mexican marketplace, the Jeep® Renegade has positioned itself as the only vehicle in the small off-road segment. The Renegade has continued to offer a combination inspired by the iconic Wrangler, without neglecting the elements of adventure and style that define the Jeep brand (freedom and outdoor comfort). This past week, Jeep Mexico pulled the covers off of their latest special edition model for the Renegade, the Polar Bronze Edition.

Based on the Renegade Limited, the 2021 Jeep Renegade Polar Bronze Edition inherits the Jeep DNA and heritage incorporating a unique Polar exterior color, iconic seven-slot grille with bronze accents, bronze badges with black accents, a set of 19-Inch x 7.5-Inch aluminum wheels in a bronze finish, and a unique Deep Brown leather interior color. The Polar Bronze Edition also features a Command-View dual panoramic sunroof and LED headlamps and fog lamps, as standard equipment. 

The Renegade Polar Bronze Edition becomes the Mexico market’s fourth trim level as Jeep sells the Sport, Latitude, and Limited models already for Mexico.

When it comes to the interior of the Renegade Polar Bronze Edition, it features an exclusive Deep Brown leather interior and Deep Brown door panels. In addition, the Polar Bronze Edition also features dual-zone automatic climate control, a 7-inch thin-film-transistor (TFT) cluster, passive entry with Keyless Enter ‘n Go™ start button, under the passenger seat storage, and an 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Powering the Renegade Polar Bronze Edition is a 1.8-liter E-Torq inline-four-cylinder engine. The 1.8-liter, which is not offered in the United States or Canada, delivers 130 horsepower and 134 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and achieves 14.29 km / l or 33.6 mpg.

The Renegade Polar Bronze Edition replaces the Mexican-exclusive Renegade Bronze Edition from earlier this year. 

The Mexican-market 2021 Jeep Renegade Polar Bronze Edition has a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $489,900 MXN or about $22,950 USD.
