2019 Dodge Durango Details Have Been Dropped:

New Colors, New Options...

A few months ago, we broke the news that Dodge was bringing the same front fascia looks for the 2018 Dodge Durango GT as a limited run. We it looks like the GT is getting the performance fascia as standard equipment for the 2019 model year. Durango also gets some new colors added to the color palette and some new options for 2019.

The Dodge Durango SXT is the base trim in the Durango lineup. For 2019, Durango SXT models offer leather seats for an added premium feel and standard five-passenger seating that can be configured in 50 different ways.

Durango SXT models feature a customizable 7-inch full-color driver infotainment digital cluster display, Uconnect 4 with a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Keyless Enter ‘n Go with Push Button Start. A perforated leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, driver-oriented electronic T-shifter and Bluetooth audio streaming with integrated Voice Command is also standard.

Followed by the performance V6 trim of the Durango GT, the well-equipped Durango GT now shares a performance front fascia and LED fog lamps with R/T and SRT models while an SRT-inspired performance hood with center air inlet duct and two heat extractors is available. Also new for 2019, Durango GT models now offer available cloth seating and a new 20-inch wheel design in a Satin Carbon or Brass Monkey finish.

The 5.7-liter HEMI powered Durango R/T is the core performance trim of the Durango lineup. New for 2019, Durango R/T models are available with Sepia leather seats and an 825-watt, 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system that delivers opulent sound and refinement.

Durango R/T standard equipment includes a performance steering and suspension, performance front fascia with LED fog lamps, high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps with automatic high-beam headlamps and Uconnect 4C NAV with 8.4-inch touchscreen, navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. With available seven-passenger seating and second-row captain’s chairs, the seats in the 2019 Dodge Durango can be configured in 50 different ways.

On the luxury side of the Durango lineup, is the Durango Citadel which can be equipped with either V6 or HEMI options. New for 2019, Durango Citadel models feature standard second-row captain’s chairs and an available 825-watt, 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.

But let’s not forget the top-spec performance trim in the Durango lineup, the Dodge Durango SRT. New for 2019, the Durango SRT offers available red seat belts and lightweight, high-performance Brembo brakes with two-piece rotors, as well as an available 825-watt, 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system that delivers opulent sound and refinement. An optional 20-inch in Matte Vapor or Brass Monkey finish is available on Durango SRT.

The 2019 Dodge Durango is available in 11 colors: In-Violet, Octane Red, Redline Red, Reactor Blue (new – late availability), Destroyer Gray (new – late availability), F8 Green (new – late availability), Granite, Billet, DB Black, White Knuckle and Vice White.

All 2019 Durango models now offer an integrated trailer brake when equipped with the optional Trailer Tow Package. Blind-spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path detection is also available as a free-standing option.

Dealers can now place orders for the 2019 Dodge Durango. Vehicles are scheduled to start arriving in Dodge dealerships this fall.
