WATCH: Jeep® Europe Reveal The New Avenger 4xe
Jeep Gives Its Smallest Vehicle 4x4 Capability...
As Jeep® prepares to unveil the production version of its highly anticipated Avenger 4xe, excitement is building. This new model marks a significant milestone for the iconic adventure brand, bringing true off-road capability to the Avenger lineup for the first time. Designed for global markets but notably absent from U.S., Canadian, and Chinese showrooms, the Avenger has already made waves in Europe and other international markets. The introduction of the 4xe version promises to elevate its appeal even further.
The Avenger 4xe, set to be revealed in a live-streamed event today at 10:30 a.m. EDT (4:30 p.m. CET), represents Jeep’s commitment to combining electrification with rugged performance. Unlike the standard Avenger, which is available as a battery-electric vehicle (BEV) or a mild-hybrid, the 4xe variant boasts true 4×4 capability. This is achieved by adding two 21 kW (28 horsepower) electric motors mounted on the rear axle, a 1.2-liter mild-hybrid powertrain, and a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
This setup enhances the Avenger’s off-road prowess and aligns with Jeep’s innovative approach to hybrid technology. The vehicle is built on the Common Modular Platform (CMP) originally developed by PSA Group. This platform is shared with other popular models like the Peugeot 2008, Opel Mokka, DS 3 Crossback, Fiat 600, and the new Alfa Romeo Junior, ensuring a solid foundation of reliability and performance.
Jeep first hinted at the Avenger 4xe during the vehicle’s debut at the Paris Motor Show in October 2022 with a concept model that promised increased off-road capabilities. The production model is ready to deliver on that promise, bringing more ruggedness.
This event is not just about showcasing a new vehicle; it’s about experiencing the future of Jeep’s adventure-ready lineup. Don’t miss this opportunity to see the next big thing in off-road driving.
Stay tuned, as we will be covering additional details after the reveal.
