Upfit by AEV Packages Available for 2024 Jeep® Wrangler (JL)

In an exciting move for off-road enthusiasts, American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) is unveiling a range of upfit packages tailored for the brand-new 2024 Jeep® Wrangler (JL). The venture comes on the heels of the success AEV achieved earlier this year when it fitted a limited batch of 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 20th Anniversary models with its Level II package. These models, boasting 37-inch tires and unparalleled capability, sold out in a mere two hours, a testament to the robust demand for such enhancements.

For the 2024 lineup, AEV’s upfit packages expand accessibility to legendary Jeep 4×4 capability, catering to a broader array of Wrangler owners. The company now offers three tiers of upfit packages: Upcountry, Upcountry+, and Level II. All these packages bring 35-inch or 37-inch tires to the Wrangler Rubicon. Notably, AEV’s Upcountry and Upcountry+ packages introduce 35-inch tires to the already capable Wrangler Willys model.

Jim Morrison, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep® North America, highlighted the significance of these offerings, stating, “The additional AEV packages allow legendary Jeep 4×4 capability to be accessible to more Wrangler owners. This array of upfit packages for the 2024 Wrangler gives off-road enthusiasts the ability to select the path that best suits their off-roading adventures.”

Undoubtedly, the spotlight shines brightest on AEV’s Level II package, which takes the already capable Wranglers and transforms them into veritable off-roading beasts. The Level II package boasts specifications that include an impressive 14.2 inches of ground clearance, an exceptional 37.1 inches of water fording capability, and angles tailor-made for conquering the toughest terrains: a 50-degree approach angle, a 33-degree breakover angle, and a 43-degree departure angle.

Prospective buyers of the new 2024 Jeep Wranglers equipped with AEV upfit packages will have the opportunity to secure their desired package on a first-come, first-serve basis. Orders can be placed through local Jeep® dealers starting this month. The vehicles will subsequently be shipped from the Toledo Assembly Complex to AEV in Wixom, Michigan, for the upfit process before being delivered to the customer’s chosen dealership.
