TRICK OR TREAT: Jeep® Brand Brings Back Punk’n Exterior Paint Color To Wrangler!
Popular Color Returns For A Very Limited Time...
It’s Halloween and the Jeep® brand has a special treat for Wrangler fans. For a limited time, the American adventure brand is bringing back it’s popular Punk’n (PE4) exterior color as an available option for all 2023 Jeep Wrangler (JL) models.
Named after the festive fall fruit which it shares its color, Punk’n is a Brillant Orange color that brings customization and charisma to Wrangler’s unique lineup of vivid limited run colors. The color was originally offered on the Jeep Wrangler from 2018 to 2020 model year, Punk’n makes an anticipated return to the 2023 model year palette.
“Bringing back Punk’n right around Halloween is a great time to relaunch this confident and custom color on the iconic Jeep Wrangler,” said Jim Morrison, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep® North America. “Like other special-run colors for Wrangler, Punk’n appeals to a huge enthusiast following because it’s authentic, inspiring, and bold, much like the Jeep community.”
Punk’n will have a U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggest Retail Price (MSRP) of $695. For the Canadian market, the color will have a MSRP of $495. Ordering banks are currently open for Punk’n Wrangler models.
For Gladiator fans, Punk’n will make a return next year for a limited time according to our dealer sources.
But it does appear that Jeep has provided a ‘trick’ along with their ‘treat’ of the addition of Punk’n. Dealers have informed us that the popular Hydro Blue (PBJ) color is no longer available in their order system. We reached out to Jeep for an official response over the weekend, however, as of the publication of this article we haven’t gotten a reply.
