“Tiki Bob” Returns On 2021 Jeep® Wrangler & Renegade Islander Models:
Beach-Themed Models Are In Dealers Now...
With only a few weeks until spring, the Jeep® brand is promoting its beach-themed “Islander” lineup for 2021. Originally launched in 1988, the Wrangler Islander celebrated the brand’s 4×4 capability paired with unique, beach-themed accents, upbeat style, and summer-fun features. While “Tiki Bob” returns on the iconic Wrangler nameplate for the 2021 model year, Jeep has added the limited edition theme to the compact Renegade.

2021 Jeep Wrangler Islander:
After an 11-year hiatus, the Wrangler Islander returns! Based on the Wrangler Sport S, the Wrangler Islander is available in either two or four-door (Unlimited) models. The package comes standard with the following features…

Four powertrain options are available for the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Islander models. There are three engine choices which include a standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with Engine-Start Stop (ESS) with manual transmission Wranglers, an optional 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four-cylinder engine with ESS, a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with eTorque mild-hybrid technology with automatic transmission, and 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 with ESS on Unlimited models.
Power ratings of the Islander models range from 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque on both Pentastar engines, to 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque on the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four-cylinder, and a stump-pulling on the 260 horsepower and 442 lb.-ft. of torque for the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6.
Wrangler Islander customers will have a choice of ten exterior colors, which include Billet Silver, Sting-Gray, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Firecracker Red, Hella-Yella, Snazzberry, Sarge, and Hydro Blue (late availability). All colors except Bright White have an additional charge of $245.
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler two-door model has a U.S. Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $33,190 (excluding $1,495 destination) and the four-door Unlimited model has an MSRP of $36,690 (again excluding $1,495 destination).

Under the hood, there is only one option available, the 2.4-liter Tigershark inline-four-cylinder producing 180 horsepower (134 kW) and 175 lb.-ft. (237 Nm) of torque. The Tigershark is mated to a 9-speed 948TE automatic transmission. The Tigershark engine can run on regular unleaded 87 octane and turns out a fuel economy rating of 22 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined on front-wheel-drive (FWD) models. Opt for a four-wheel-drive (4×4), and the Renegade Islander will achieve 21 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined. The Renegade Islander is also capable to tow 2,000 lbs (4×4 models).
The Renegade Islander is available in four exterior colors. Those colors include Jetset Blue, Bikini, Omaha Orange, and Glacier Metallic. All four colors are an additional $245.
