There Are Two Half-Door Options For The 2021 Jeep® Wrangler Lineup:
Base Or Premium...
Since the introduction of the Jeep® Wrangler (JL) back at the L.A. Auto Show in 2017, enthusiasts have been asking the iconic off-road brand for a half-door option for the latest generation of Wrangler. Jeep originally teased a unique conceptual half-door design that featured glass panels at the vehicle debut, however, that design never made it into production. But back in October, our spy photographers caught one particular prototype that received a lot of attention on our site.
That prototype was a two-door model featuring half-doors similar to those shown on the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept vehicle, but with a set of zip-up windows. Soon after our shots went up, Jeep broke the news about the addition of the new half-doors for both the two-door Wrangler and four-door Wrangler Unlimited models.
Now our spy photographers have caught another 2021 Jeep Wrangler with the new half-door design, this time an Unlimited Rubicon on the street, testing. The new half-doors will be available in two configurations depending on the trim level you choose to purchase.
